Extraction of Gravity–Magnetic Anomalies Associated with Pb–Zn–Fe Polymetallic Mineralization in Luziyuan Ore Field, Yunnan Province, Southwestern China

The method of bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition (BEMD) and the combined methods entropy weight–Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) were used decompose gravity–magnetic data evaluate targets in Luziyuan Pb–Zn–Fe polymetallic ore field surrounding areas. Three meaningful intrinsic function (BIMF) images obtained BEMD at different wavelengths, depicting layers geological architectures study area. results are as follows. (1) BIMF2 depict shallow local architecture show positive anomalies skarn alteration mineralization distributed around concealed granites. (2) BIMF3 medium-depth architecture, indicating that granitic stocks, which extensions a deeply pluton, intruded along NE-trending fault. (3) BIMF4 greater depth, likely reflect regional architectures, potential presence large, intermediate-acid pluton negative anomaly zone. (A, B, C) delineated based on original data. weight–TOPSIS evaluation ranking metallogenic area is A, C, with relative proximity values 0.4576, 0.3925, 0.1499, respectively. this can be guide future exploration.
